AR specialist company ICF (CEO Seo Young-ho) will introduce its self-developed AR art viewer app, “AR Cookie,” at the “1st AR ART Exhibition,” held at Gallery TAM until July 5th (Friday).

AR Cookie is a platform that allows users to view artists’ works in augmented reality via their smartphones. Simply install and launch the AR Cookie app on your phone, then scan the AR code displayed alongside the artwork to instantly view the AR art.

The AR art created by ICF is a derivative work created with the consent of the original copyright holder. It is created using 3D modeling and animation, based on a storytelling approach that aligns with the original work’s worldview.

Following the successful conclusion of this AR art exhibition, ICF plans to expand its exhibitions to various fields, including installation art. Furthermore, it will launch “3D Palette,” an AR platform that allows artists to easily edit and create AR art, and will present diverse content focused on the visitor experience.

CEO Seo Young-ho stated, “AR ART integrates visual and auditory elements into its content to provide a synesthetic experience that allows visitors to connect with the artwork. We plan to diversify our services to enable visitors to experience traditional two-dimensional exhibitions in a three-dimensional way.”

Meanwhile, the Digital Content Enterprise Growth Support Center, where ICF is located, was established by the Ministry of Science and ICT and is operated by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency and the Next Generation Convergence Content Industry Association. As a resident company of the center, ICF is contributing to innovation in the AR art industry by participating in various customized consulting services, corporate PR support, and networking programs to establish a corporate collaboration system.
